Rand Paul responds to state of the union address

Kentucky senator Rand Paul gave a video response to President Obama’s recent state of the union address.

Paul, speaking on behalf of the Tea Party Express, began by attacking Obama for borrowing “$50,000 a second” and calling for a balanced budget amendment.

“Big government’s not your friend,” he stated. “The president offers you free stuff, but his policies keep you poor.”

“The path we are on is not sustainable, but few in Congress or in this Administration seem
to recognize that their actions are endangering the prosperity of this great nation.”He also condemned the president for having a secret list of people to be killed without a trial.

According to his website, Rand Paul’s PAC’s mission is “to support and elect Pro-Liberty,
Pro-Constitution candidates in Kentucky and across the country.”
